I just finished reading this book and let me just say that it was difficult to put it down. Every chapter led me to wanting to read another that I didn’t sleep until 2:30am. This is one of those poor-and-rich-couple-whose-lives-would-never-work-out stories. I feel like every time I read a new book that Abby writes, I always tell myself “this is her best book yet”. I laughed, I cried, and I fell in love reading this book. Alexis’ character touched me in a way that I can relate how people have big expectations of me. Daniel is such an adorable character and is definitely my new book boyfriend. My real longterm boyfriend is also a woodworker so this book is so relatable! I’m not wealthy like Alexis but in some ways, their characters are very relatable. The book is beautifully written and it really placed me in the situations the characters were in.
