DIY Bookmarks

I recently just organized a book club last month called The Book Hour Book Club. I received a set of gifted books (This Close To Okay by Leesa Cross-Smith) from The Bookclub Coookbook and Grand Central Publishing. To go with the books, I created some bookmarks and sent some to our book club members.

I thought about printing my bookmarks through one of those online printing companies but the amount of bookmarks that I need are not too practical to be printed in bulk. So, I decided to be creative and resourceful on printing these bookmarks.

First, I designed my bookmarks through Canva. I currently have the Canva Pro membership which widens my options to design my projects (all photos and elements are included in this type of membership). I created a custom 4x6 for these bookmarks. I designed two bookmarks in one page (2x6 per bookmark).

I went to Walgreens Photo to upload my design and have them printed. I used a discount code (it varies all the time so make sure to look up any promo codes online). I used a paper cutter to cut my print into two. Then, voila! I was able to print 60+ bookmarks for around $12.

Some people print their own bookmarks and laminate them. I still think that how I printed them was cheaper and the quality of the print is high.
